You have to be very good with aiming and usually use Vladof snipers to stack it. Stacks begin to decay if you haven't scored a critical hit after a couple seconds. Always put some points into this skill.Ĭritical Ascensi0n - Scoring a Critical Hit with a sniper rifle gives you +6% Critical Hit Damage and +5% Damage with sniper rifles. That hip-shot accuracy boost is massive and allows you to consistently get critical hits without needing to scope in. Whether or not you hip-fire, the reload speed and mag size boost alone is enough. This skill is amazing for any sniping build. I never put points into this skill because it's never optimal to wait for the skill to stack.Īt 0ne with the Gun - +25% Hip-Shot accuracy, +10% Reload Speed, and +1 Magazine Size with Sniper Rifles per level. In order to effectively use this skill, you'd need to shoot only once every 3 seconds. Kill C0nfirmed - Up to +8% Critical Hit Damage per level depending on how long you aim down the sights. - Typically you don't want to be aiming down your sights very long. ![]() Some bosses have overlapping hitboxes so you can infinitely B0re them. That's a 1 hit kill. Double damage every time you pierce is a massive damage boost. TAKE THIS SKILL! B0re is one of the best skills in the entire game and it's only one point! When you're fighting groups of enemies, position yourself so you can pierce multiple enemies. Enemy crit locations highlighted in Decepti0n. You'll only start to notice the difference after you use multiple points.ī0re - Shots pierce through enemies, gaining +100% damage per enemy pierced. I would recommend this if you're using unique snipers that have slow bullet speeds, but otherwise the gun damage and crit damage isn't worth it. Vel0city - +20% Bullet Speed, +3% Critical Hit Damage, and +2% Gun Damage per level. If you have maxed out reload bonus skills, you could really milk that +60% damage from the first shot. This skill is basically the opposite of Gunzerker's Money Shot skill. That being said, I think this skill is worth putting a few points into, but don't max it out.Ġne Sh0t 0ne Kill - The first shot from a fully loaded magazine deals +12% Damage per level. You probably wouldn't even notice the bonus unless you're using assault rifles or something. You'll be reloading your sniper rifle almost instantly! At 5 points you get +50% crit damage and +75% reload speed. I would definitely put at least 4 points into this skill if you're going for a sniper build. The bonuses you get from this skill is quite significant. Killing an enemy gives you +10% Critical Hit Damage and +15% Reload Speed per level for a few seconds. There's no real problem with taking this skill, but you might as well take Headsh0t instead because it's better. The aim steadiness also isn't that big of a bonus. The more zoom you have, the further away from enemies you have to stand to snipe. I'd definitely take this if you're good at aiming.Ġptics - +3% Zoom and +12% Aim Steadiness (reduces aim disruption when taking damage) per level. You can get +40% crit damage with a Legendary Hunter or Sniper class mod. Headsh0t - +4% Critical Hit Damage per level. Finally, the Bloodshed tree is focused entirely on boosting Zer0's melee damage. The Cunning tree is based on making Decepti0n stronger and giving small bonuses to both melee and gun damage. The Sniping skill tree is mostly self-explanatory, but it also focuses a lot on critical hit damage. Zer0's skill trees are Sniping, Cunning, and Bloodshed. I will give tips for each of his skills, as well as provide builds for certain levels. ![]() Today we're going to be going over Zer0 the Assassin. But this time I'll make sure I back it up every once in awhile. ![]() Yeah, I spent 3-ish hours on it and accidentally deleted it. I made a Krieg guide yesterday, which you can find here. Heyo! I plan to make a class guide for every Borderlands 2 character (unless I get bored of it).
